My Top 5 Favorite Young Living Products

Northern Lights Black Spruce (NLBS)

I’m a huge fan of tree oils—cedarwood, pine, fir, sandalwood—anything earthy and grounding. For me, these oils connect to something deeper. I think my high-strung, high-achieving nature subconsciously craves their calming, stabilizing energy!
NLBS, in particular, holds a beautiful story. The Lakota people used it to communicate with the Great Spirit, making it a powerful oil for spiritual connection. It’s one of the highest-frequency oils, second only to Idaho Blue Spruce and coming in second before rose, and it’s packed with benefits like uplifting vitality, encouraging energy flow, and calming nerves.
I use NLBS daily—on my spine in the morning, diffused with Stress Away and Cedarwood during the day, and with Lavender and Bergamot at night. It’s my go-to for boosting confidence before social situations. Seriously, I’m in love with this oil.

Valor
Valor was the oil that made me think, “This is legit!” It was my first real introduction to Young Living, and it’s still a favorite I can’t move out of my top spot. Valor is the oil for courage and confidence. Roman soldiers even bathed in similar oils before battle for strength and resilience.
I keep Valor in my purse for a confidence boost, and when I was a teacher, I’d hand a roller of Valor and Citrus Fresh to nervous students before tests or presentations. I love it topically—just a dab under my nose for an instant mental shift. For emotional overstimulation, I’ll diffuse Valor with Peace and Calming for a perfect balance.

Ningxia

Ningxia is a game-changer. This antioxidant-packed supplement made from Ningxia wolfberries (and other superfoods like pomegranates and cherries) has become an essential part of my daily routine. Young Living sources the wolfberries from the Ningxia region of China, a Blue Zone known for its long-living population and mineral-rich soil.
At first, I didn’t get the hype, but after a Ningxia Reset (two weeks of macro-dosing), I was hooked. My energy skyrocketed, my stress plummeted, and my creativity was through the roof. It’s now a staple in our house, and I even make a Ningxia Mocktail daily with Sulfurzyme, Mineral Essence, and sparkling water. Robby and Hawthorne ask for it too, but it’s my drink, so I guard it carefully!

Deep Night Essence

I didn’t expect much from Deep Night Essence when I first tried it—after all, I’ve always been a solid sleeper. But boy, was I wrong! Turns out, this supplement is serious business. Made with lemon balm, holy basil, and lavender, it’s designed to support deep, restful sleep.
When I started taking it at the wrong time (hello, naps during the day!), I quickly realized how powerful it is. I mean lemon balm, lavender, and holy basil are pretty gentle herbs and this supplement didn’t; even have melatonin! Now, I take two capsules before bed if I need to ensure a restful night, especially before a big day. It’s a game-changer for anyone who struggles with winding down.

Sulfurzyme

I can’t say enough good things about Sulfurzyme! This powder supplement is my secret weapon. It’s rich in MSM, which supports hair growth (I’m on a mission to get my mermaid hair back!), skin elasticity, collagen synthesis, digestion, and immunity.
I add it to my Ningxia for a little flavor twist, and it’s become a daily must-have. It’s like a magic powder for my body, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to support their overall wellness. Oh, and don’t be afraid to take a little extra—more is more, right?
